Can I walk from Manama into Saudi Arabia on the causeway?
Unfortunately, you must be in a vehicle to cross the border on the King Fahd Causeway. Most people take either an official or unofficial taxi. Expect to pay tolls in addition to standard fares.
How easy is it to get a taxi across the Causeway?
Because taxi drivers are forced to queue to cross the border in either direction, they sometimes avoid the area. That said, you can take unofficial taxis through the border. Look for these near the bus stations on either side of the causeway.
